چکیده
Two patients are described in whom intraventricular tumors were incidentally detected by radionuclide angiocardiography. This finding led, in one patient, to surgical cure.

متن کاملLeft ventricular performance after myocardial infarction assessed by radioisotope angiocardiography.
Radioisotope angiocardiography was performed by peripheral venous or pulmonary arterial injection of 99mTc pertechnetate in 64 patients with acute myocardial infarction. End-diastolic volume determined with this technic averaged 101 + 7 (+ SEM) ml/m2 and was elevated (>90 ml/m2) in 47 patients. Initial ejection fraction (EF) averaged 0.38 + 0.03 and was reduced (<0.52) in 58 patients. The exten...
متن کاملImaging Guidelines for Nuclear Cardiology Procedures: Equilibrium Radionuclide Angiocardiography (ERNA)
Planar equilibrium radionuclide angiocardiography (ERNA) is used to determine global and regional measures of ventricular function (primarily left ventricular [LV] function) at rest and/or during exercise stress or pharmacologic intervention. These measures of ventricular function may include evaluations of ventricular wall motion, ejection fraction (EF), and other parameters of systolic and di...
متن کاملRegional left ventricular wall motion from first-pass radionuclide angiocardiography using an Anger camera. Experimental and clinical study.
Experimental studies with a balloon phantom, and clinical studies were performed to evaluate first-pass radionuclide angiocardiography using a gamma camera in the assessment of regional wall motion. The phantom studies showed that choice of isocount contour was not critical in edge detection. Adequate count densities could be achieved, but only at the expense of temporal resolution. The clinica...
